IT infrastructure management.
Developments and research of mathematical models, methods and tools for monitoring, analysis and management of information telecommunication systems (ITS) infrastructure and networks of information and communication services providers are conducted under this direction. Based on these models, methods and tools the design and implementation of integrated IT management systems is built.
IT infrastructure management system (IMS) is designed for state monitoring, analyzing ability to work and controlling hardware and software means o functional and technological subsystems of ITS, information and communication services networks, subnets, technologies, provider equipment.
3. IMS provides:
IMS consists of 3 major parts, which are implemented in the relevant software modules:
Server module implements the basic functionality of IMS, provides a direct connection to the database and monitors the work of all other modules.
IMS client modules provides the basic setup of the IMS, it’s hardware and applications, displays the state of the entire IT – infrastructure with the ability to remotely control, monitor, and view the properties of each IT – object.
agent module is installed on all workstations and all or only part of the IMS elements where the interaction with the latter is provided by using standard protocols. The interaction of the agent modules provides load balancing at individual sites of IT – infrastructure.
IMS is developed using the . NET technology. Interaction with a wide range of IMS hardware and software DaLLF (Dynamic auto linked library functions) technology has been developed and implemented using the type reflection. IMS provides flexible and intuitive in configuration interface to work with ITS objects, which provides versatility and ease of adaptation to different hardware and software platforms.
